The first task in establishing the business was to come up with a name for it. After much deliberation and research, we decided on a word that captured our vision holistically.
We chose the word “Joss.” It originates from Asia and, when loosely translated, means fortune, happiness, or luck. However, it also means good or bad luck depending on what the individual makes of it.
When you use one of our cue sticks, you are neither lucky nor unlucky. It is up to you to create your own good fortune.
